It’s natural to have tons of questions when considering leaving your beloved pet.

To help you, we've provided a list of some frequently asked questions.

I’ve never used a pet care service. How does it work?

The first step is that you will receive a complimentary in-home consultation and opportunity to ask any questions you have! You can explain your pet’s routine and what should be performed during our services. We will collect any important information, such as vet and emergency contact info. You can also decide whether you prefer to set up a recurring schedule or request visits as needed. 

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that things happen! You can cancel a visit any time before midnight, the day prior, and you won’t be charged for the visit!

What if I need a dog walker or pet sitter on short notice?

We try our best to accommodate all your last minute needs and are usually able to visit, even with short notice!

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes. We are insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates.

Who is responsible for paying the facility you are transporting my pet to?

Your pet must have an established appointment or reservation for a groomer, daycare, vet, or other facility. You must contact the facility to allow for us to be able to pick up your pet. We are not responsible for payments to the facility.

Do you require any documentation?

A copy of your pet's rabies vaccination is required. You can provide a copy or have your vet email the records to furraripettaxico@gmail.com.

Do you service my area?

We are physically located in Jermyn, Lackawanna County, PA, but do provide service throughout the surrounding area. We will also provide service to others outside of our service area for an additional fee.
